Questions

Circular timelines work well when you're visualizing cyclical data: things that repeat annually like quarterly goals, seasonal trends, fiscal calendars, or content schedules. If you find yourself scrolling left and right to see Q4 while planning Q1, circular layouts solve that.

For one-off projects with clear start and end dates (like a product launch timeline or historical events), stick with linear timelines.

About 30 seconds with the CDN. If you're using npm, maybe a minute.

Add a <div> to your HTML, drop in the library, copy one of the examples from the docs, and you're running. The templates are just HTML files you can open and customize directly.

Yes. Circalify is open source under the MIT license, free for personal and commercial use.

Colours, fonts, sizes and spacing are all options in the config. You can also style the SVG with your own CSS.

Yes. The MIT license allows commercial use, and you don't have to credit it.

Right away: 10 timeline templates as HTML files, for quarterly planning, a product launch, an editorial calendar, a project, a marketing campaign, an academic year, an event, the HR year, a financial year and personal goals.

After that: An occasional email when there's something new. Ask and I'll delete your address.
